“A stage full of people couldn’t have had the same effect as this single actor did in this 75 minutes…”

Work. Play.

I believe actors need strong imaginations and the bravery to use them on stage. I tend to begin my work from the “outside in” using Laban and Linklater training as my jumping off point. When working from the “inside out,” I gravitate towards Stanislavsky vocabulary. That said, I love learning new ways of approaching material. Highly trained in improvisation, I adapt easily to directional shifts. I stay quiet when not in use during rehearsals and playful when working on stage. Every performance opportunity is a learning experience.
